History
STINSO was launched by Charles Batsford, former Sales
Manager of ABC-CLIO; Peter Sproul, former Consortia Sales
Specialist of ABC-CLIO; and Andy Katsev, co-founder of
Sportstats, in April of 2000. The company was formed with
the vision of providing cost effective solutions for publishers
looking to expand market-share within the many educational
sales channels. STINSO’s early success was the result
of the emphasis it placed on building lasting relationships,
along with its strong understanding of what publishers
and consortia desire from these relationships.
